Offer it up

In March of 2020, Nancy and her family found themselves in darkness after the loss of their Papa. Grieving during a time when hugs were unsafe and gatherings were forbidden, the world had to get more creative in how they supported and showed love to one another. We saw organized car parades and gifts left on steps, motivational sayings written on cardboard scraps and held outside the house by friends. We saw, in the most natural, raw, and pure form, how to spread light and give love. When we felt ourselves faltering, we would think back to the gestures of our loved ones and to Papa’s mantra, ‘offer it up!’. To Papa, offering it up meant channeling current frustrations in a way that could benefit others.

 

we are continuing to offer it up with our giving candle and our spa day Candle. Our giving candle is a seasonal candle in which we donate a portion of the proceeds to dana farber cancer research. the spa day candle is a year round candle in which we donate a portion of the proceeds to the Parkinson's foundation.
